Nah. If wasn't fire and Fairies just hitted super all the time it would have been a lot worse. Steel is also pretty common and people do love their Grass walls like Tangrowth so Fire is a decent...ish type right now. Main issue really is that Greenigger is flying around everywhere unless you're playing lower than OU. (VGC doesn't really escapes from it as well)

It's an OK typing at best yes, but WORST? Nah. It's more the pokemon holding it back.

I still wonder why they introduced slow mon's but didn't make that speed lose useful by any item or ability or new terrain ect.

mewtwo for example have shitty defences but at least it's fucking fast... but rest of them, they literally put atk points and gave shitty defence to bunch of slow mon...
