I see a lot of people praising EoS.

I don't really get it. What made EoS better than the first ones? I enjoyed the story of the first games much better and there seemed to be much more drama to take seriously like being forced out and having to travel with only your partner for a while. Mind you, I enjoy time travel plots too, but it just seemed to follow the basic checklist of how to do it. Which is fine for games like these, but it makes for something that's relatively weak.

Starter choice was better though.
