There are plenty, use a Hippo, Platypus whatever, just because some other fakemon artist used the same creature as basis for their starter doesn't mean you can't do it better than them, their are tons of things you can do to make it unique instead of literally your moms seal

Also how can the peacock example be a cliche when you list more than 1/4 of all types. Sounds more like you're just tired of peacock fakemon in general.

Fire/Grass pepper mon is a really boring concept. Someone kept pushing for a Grass/Fire Pomegranate bomb, using explosion, etc. That's a better idea imo.

A bonfire protea fakemon would be real nice, in my opinion. If the chili fakemon was a Grass/Poison type that has a poison move that inflicts burn, it would be way better than the ones that we have.

It's not a boring concept, it's just that most fakemon based on chili peppers have boring designs. Most of them either go with a lizard-shape, a waifu-shape, or just take the fruit and put a face on it.

The point was that GF was incredibly lazy with Alolan Raichu. I am not trying to say that fakemon that also just slap on a theme without giving any explanation are good, just that GF has done the same shit themselves.
