almost 4 generations later of toxic spamming and switching different walls/tanks with regen and the strategy has always been the same: Make the opponent surrender.
Ever know why alot of people just quit upon getting one pokemon less in a stall environment? Because they know its over, they're not going to stick around for the 'lucky' crit to get you out of your comfy zone. They have things to do with their lives and the playstyle encourages such a boring and anti-social experience. I've hated stall since I started competitive and I hate it still, I have no problem with utilizing DoTs as a strategy, after all sandstorm and burn are always nice to have, but stalling as a strategy in itself doesn't feel like I was punished, I feel like my time is being wasted. I don't feel like I was legitimately outplayed.
