This annoys me the most because they are clearly aware that the flying animations don't look good. Out of all the new pokémon with bird wings in gen VII only Trumbeak flaps its wings. Pikipek, Toucannon and all the Oricorio variations stay on the ground when they're not attacking. And none of them have the retarded gliding in place animation.

I'm saying that most dedicated pokémon communities weren't ecstatic for ORAS.
The average consumer don't really care that much at all as long as the game can entertain them for a couple of days. That said I have seen very few people claiming that ORAS was great no matter were you look, very rarely did you see anything above "it's fine I guess".

Yeah, the poses and animations are generally the problem for most of them. Aside from the people disliking the washed out colors.

3D models are just as capable of looking good as sprites were, but the guys at Game Freak decided to be lazy pieces of shit and made many Pokemon just stand there doing nothing even though they're supposed to be in a battle.
