How long does it take a company to realize that a feature in their game is absolute cancer? I did it for gen4, and the experience was the reason I didn't buy gen5.
Then I bought the hype of gen6 and the 3d models; and all the hype about IV grinding being streamlined. That experience was the reason I used save editors for gen6 and skipped gen7.
What the fuck is wrong with gamefreak? Nobody participates in the IV grind. They start editing their saves within a month of a new pokemon game specifically to skip all of that bullshit. Egg farming is for the shiny hunt autists. People who just want to battle online are looking to be engaged in playing the game. There's nothing engaging about hundreds of hours spent bicycling back and forth while you watch TV.
