The clicks are bad in the ORAS version but there's a lot more going on than just that. I abhor the synths used as the lead melody. In RSE the melody is rather delicate, and also changes instruments in the second half of the song; ORAS using the same overbearing synth through almost the entirety of the song. ORAS getting the instrumentation of its melodies wrong is a recurring problem for the entirety of the game.
All the little parts from the RSE version, whether the rapidly descending notes coming from the GBA's DirectSound or the GBS pulse channels strumming along like a string instrument, are made difficult to hear due to poor balance in the song's volume. If you listen really hard you can hear them in the ORAS version (and they at least made the GBS channels an actual guitar strumming along), but the fact that I have to strain to hear means someone fucked up, considering I don't have to do that at all in the original version.

And to anyone planning to reply to this post with "quit sperging out over a single song tl;dr" I'm just trying to articulate in detail what I find wrong with the song since anon seems flabbergasted at how someone can dislike this remix despite it being a common opinion.
