Brionne looked kind of bad compared to the other two mid-stages and still sold more iirc.
Primarina just stayed there for weeks instead of a couple of days, and even if you don't want to use it as proof that Prima is more popular than Decidueye (which is fair), it's proof that Primarina is a really popular Pokémon there.
I'm pretty sure final stages never do really well and, considering the price, it sold really well in general. Although as you said, stuff like Vulpix, Mimikyu and even Rowlet completely reign over them.
