Look, many people like it, but the other forme gets the attention it does because it's a werewolf, which comes with a separate appeal. I much prefer Day to Night, and know many who do as well.

Midday is already one of the most popular gen VII pokémon. Midnight is only popular among furries, and it recently had a pretty big role in the anime.

Just because it has more marketing it doesn't mean it's more liked/popular.

Right. And the reason they selected it over Day is because it has that werewolf aspect that can accentuate a rival/enemy's team. It's like Char-X having the Dragon typing and being given to Alain to show it off.

The actual design's colors is why I like it though. Tan and white are perfect palettes for a "dawn" form, as they're bright enough to properly convey the idea.
