Ability: Regenerator or Triage* or Unaware, alternatively, it could get a special snowflake ability that increases its healing like Big Root does

*Triage now will work on moves that cure status and moves that result in HP gain like Grassy Terrain, Giga Drain and Leech Seed.

I took from speed to hit 92 base speed, which can outrun Landorus-T without investment

I decided to add to Sp. Attack only so Giga Drain was more effective. Play Rough makes sense (more so than Moonblast) and it also gets Petal Blizzard, so I debated making it Physical instead. Grass/Fairy isn't necessarily a good combo and it isn't necessarily better than M-Venusaur but at least now it isn't complete dogshit I hope.

OP asked to make a Mega that will turn a shitmon good. Huge Power and mini-maxing are the best ways to do that. (Look at Mega Mawile and Mega Beedrill, respectively.)

It's still weaker than Specs Exploud, seeing as you were just going to click Boomburst anyway. The bulk and speed is nice I guess, though Specsploud being able to hit Ghosts with Boomburst is another perk that this Mega simply does not have. It faces major competition from Y-zard, Mega Blastoise, and (eventually) Mega Gardevoir.

Given how limited Bass Cannon would be in terms of what it boosted, and how unimpressive itemless base 121 Special Attack with base 88 Speed has become these days, you could get away with boosting the multiplier to 1.5x. It's not like you're hitting anything SE with Boomburst, and it still does jack shit to Ghosts.

Except Exploud is fragile and slow as shit, whereas this is fairly bulky, outspeeds plenty of targets and murders everything that doesn't resist it. It's also not choice locked so it can cover its checks.

Ability: Consume - When attacking the enemy Pokemon, eat their item. The item is removed from the user for the remainder of the battle. Health is restored depending on item content (stuff like Berries heal it for more, Black Sludge and Leftovers heal it for a fair amount, choice items heal barely anything).

I got nothing. I wanted to keep it a mixed attacker, but I didn't want to try min/maxing it too much either. I know it's mostly decent with Chlorophyll to make up for its speed, but I thought going with the theme of carnivorous plant would better suit it.

Actually a decent concept.

Someone else once suggested "Flytrap" as an ability, which would work like Storm Drain or Lightning Rod, except for Bug moves. That could be interesting. Good in doubles, too, as it'd be handy for Dark and Psychic-type teammates, who could do with something to offset at least one of their weaknesses.

Um... Volcarona's meta right now uses Psychic as coverage. Toxapex is a big ass problem for the big bug and Psychic is used to counteract that.

I don't know about the ability. I would say huge power adaptability or iron fist but I feel like those are way to overused on this mega idea. Any other better thoughts?
