Consider the following. Let's suppose the AI hits with something like Sheer Cold which hits with 30%. The chance for it to hit successfully, three times in a row, is 0.3*0.3*0.3 = 0.027 = 2.7%. Consider that the AI will NEVER fail when it comes to doing this. Never. Suddenly that 2.7% doesn't seem realistic at all.
