>>32589317I like it as is personally. In braille that part wouldn't be raised and wouldn't exist at all. Putting the light gray dots gives people a clue what it might be and helps indicate that it's not just messy stray pixels, but it should be near indistinguishable from the white background.
Dark gray is much closer to black and would read much more like the whole thing is just a series of dots until zoomed in on.
