They're still making sad meme pictures of Misty not appearing in the anime since 2006. This isn't even about Movie 20, it's just her not appearing in an episode in over 10 years.

I mean what are these people expecting? It's now been nearly 15 years since Misty was written off. She's been gone for 75% of the anime and the writers brought in 6+ female companions after her. Why on earth are they still sitting here waiting or expecting Misty to appear again when the writers stopped her cameos over a decade ago?

It's almost like Misty fans are still under this assumption that she has to be revived or come back as a character someday. I don't know how they can think this at this point of the anime.
