Just like hazard stacking is a strategy, BP is a strategy, so counterplay should be warranted for each, and counterplay does exist. You can't call it skillless since BP users have to be able to outplay outs like Haze and Mold Breaker Roar or Dragon Tail or Circle Throw or Priority Taunt, etc, for defying BP.
The reason a BP ban is still reasonable is because like he later said, it's consistently adaptable as long as the move exists, and the previous restriction in ORAS was a complex ban that he regretted but wasn't a part of, and wanted to right that wrong. I myself was thinking about BP Gliscor like he said which actually can do a lot in this meta given it has Hyper Cutter or of course the Poison Heal variant for better longevity.
