>>32625984I don't think you understand, OP. Smogon don't ban Evasion because it's overpowered, they ban it because it removes all skill and interaction from the game and turns it into nothing but a series of coin flips.
Besides Moody, Evasion (like OHKO moves) are nowhere to be seen in metagames that do allow them, because they're not really that good.
If you're a bad player using Evasion against a good player, you might gain ~25% chance of winning using it, but if you're against another bad player, you still only gain ~25% chance of winning using it. A team which can't consistently beat players worse than you is considered a terrible team.
