What other examples are there? Kyurem-Black, Kyurem-White, Magnezone(?), Dugtrio(?), maybe... Barbaracle? Sort of? I'm having a hard time not including gestalts in here.

That's a good question

But the remoraids are kind of just... Swimming under its fins?? Whereas the shellder on slowbros tail is attached to it like a symbiotic parasite

Yeah that's true.
Maybe it's different though because they aren't really fused together though?

Then again, Slowbro isn't really fused because if you remove the shellder from its tail it supposedly devolves back into a slowpoke
