I'd suggest Crime and Punishment, it's about a guy who commits murder and how he tries to deal with it. I don't really read about murder or suicide and all the things you like. I hope you like it, Dostoyevsky is my boi.

For the pokemon, try Quagsire, it's got the same typing as Swampert. It's a great pokemon with a unique ability.

You seem to like oddball, humorous Pokemon with a lot of bulk and some good move variety. I'd give Tangrowth a shot. It can be built around either offense or defense, tank or recovery, and can learn some surprising coverage moves for a pure grass type.

I don't know much about French literature, and am only a native English speaker. Based on the descriptions and styles of the book and poetry you named, I'd suggest "Everything is Illuminated" by Jonathan Safran Boer. It's several stories at once: a journalist traveling the Ukraine to try to discover the village of his ancestors, which is very modern and dark-humor, and also the story of those ancestors, which has a lot of surrealism and magical realism elements. His writing can be quite lyrical at times, too.

You seem as if you have your guards up a lot, but have a personality that people might love. I'm not too into competitive, more of a shiny hunter myself, so I'm probably being unoriginal when I say shiny Reuniclus is honestly one of my favorites. I'd recommend hunting and or training one.

Books-wise, I don't know much about westerns but I personally hated The Once and Future King (had to read it for school so that's likely why). I loved Everything is Illuminated, though - good call! Not sure why, but I'd recommend A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court to you. Probably the Arthur in it, but I loved it and would find it hard to pass up desu.
