So gamefreak has been trying to be creative with their Pokemon league now so I thought I would come up with an idea that could make the games a bit more interesting. >Gyms are no longer based on type but theme. Games incorporate the world around them and don't just take place inside a building. This makes gyms more explorative, and unpredictable so you can't sweep through a gym with one mon. Examples are...>A gym based on the forest that would use woodland Pokemon. (Sawsbuck, ursaring, sudowoodo, ariados, Scolapeede) takes place in a large parkland area. >gym based on the super natural/extraordinary uses weird and special Pokemon.(chandalure, alakazam, absol, beheeyeem) takes place on cryptic grounds >gym based on fairy tales, uses Pokemon based on fairy tale characters. Salamence (dragon) gardavoir (damsel) gallade (knight) ribombee (forest fairy) primarina (mermaid) zoroark (shapeshifter) takes place in a mystical forest >Gym based on the desert. Used desert mons. (Garchomp, tyranitar, flygon, krookadile, digglet, sigiliph, sandshrew, maractus) Takes place in a ruined town filled with sand. > gym based on the Mountains/ caves uses mountain mons (mandibuzz, charizard, aggron, lycanroc, Golem, Noivern) takes place on a mountain path, then leads into a cave. >Gym based on swamp. Uses mons you would find in a swamp.(quagsire, toxicroak, araquanide, simipour, stunfisk) takes place in a marsh. That's all I have now. Feel free to discuss.

I hope the Elite 4 becomes a tournament like the anime, It could still follow the same format, you fight 4 competitors and then one final round for the champion Like the competitors could be, A gym leader An admin from the evil team Your opposite gender character The Professor And then fight the rival for the championship

New region is based on Australia, with a highly urbanized coast and a desolate interior. The Elite Four are positioned in the middle of this interior, and a major part of the game is simply getting to them. During this journey to the center of the region, you'll need to keep the player and their Pokemon healthy by bringing along supplies, like food, water, and medicine. Having a Pokemon that is hungry, thirsty or sick will make them less effective in battle, and evolved Pokemon require more food and water. If the player becomes too hungry, thirsty, or sick, they will faint and be airlifted back to civilization, with some of their money forfeited and all bosses that the player has defeated reset. "Gyms" that exist in the developed parts of the region give out equipment like water filtration systems and portable stoves that can make the use of your resources more effective and otherwise extend your journey. "Trial captains" stationed in the wild will give you special saddles that you can use to ride Pokemon, increasing travel speed, allowing you to cross harsh terrain, or carry more supplies and equipment for you. The game also has numerous sidequests where you help the people of the interior. Doing so grants you rewards, not the least of which is Survival Skills, things like foraging for food or creating campfires to help you survive in the wilderness.

>>32643252 Evil team are a group of vicious and idiotic poachers who don't realize that their targeting Legendary Pokemon for capture is fucking with the environment. Unlike previous games, you can totally ignore them. Confronting them and ruining their operations, bases, or missions will be greatly rewarding, but it will also cause them to start laying out traps and surprise ambushes with increasing frequency and effort, during which they will try to steal your supplies. You can even aid them on missions, with rewards usually being supplies, battle items, and safehouses at which to create item caches. The ending of the game will differ based on the degree to which you ignored, fought against, or aided the villainous team.
Once you actually get to the Elite 4, it's the standard affair: Defeat four assholes and their champion, win game. Post game is a marathon trek across not-New Zealand, which has more conventional linear routes loaded with difficult trainers. Based on your survival skills, you might be able to find alternative routes or shortcuts. Battle facility is on Tasmania.

>>32643304 Loved it. I just don't want an Australian region now. I'd like a not so tropical setting like Canada or Scandinavia.

I'd like to see more interaction with other characters, maybe romance too.

>in a forest maze with a mythical crepy feel >in a elegant snowy mountain with LOTS of snow. The league is in a ice castle or something like that. >In a urbanized futuristic city and the road in inside a skycraper. The elite four and champion is in the last floor. Anything that's different from the generic victory road.

>>32642130 Gyms/Trials now can be beaten in any order you so choose.
>Gyms are all 100% based with no trainers >Gym Leaders have 8 different teams depending on how many Gym Badges you have >Routes now adjust to the level of the Pokemon you have first. You can also get rare Pokemon more often with more badges >You have all the ride Pokemon, all cities are connected by shortcuts/trains and there is literal whos blocking your way >The Gym battles are hard if you just breeze by without exploring, but those who go out of their way can find useful Pokemon and items >Trainers on routes can now ignore you if your team is too low leveled for them. Trainers can also have their Pokemon at 90% to 55% health depending on how much health your team has and what Pokemon they have. >You can rematch gym leaders every so often, adjusting their team to fit how many badges you have >It's possible to get badges without battling, but would be very hard to do (like dating gym leaders or stealing it from them without getting caught) Anonymous
