I'm gonna restart my Sun save after a long while

What's the best way to replay it minimizing cutscene boredom? Any interesting challenges aside nuzlockes specific to Alola?

Use purposefully bad but not useless mons i.e not 6 magikarp but like Gumshoos ratticate basically mons you wouldn't typically use

Only use Pokémon introduced in gen VII.
Play like normal until Ilima's trial and after you beat him, WT your team and use that team to beat Hala. WT that team and use that team for Lana and so on.

Always do that the first playthrough

Not restarting.
If you restart you're going to have to deal with those cutscenes. The best thing you can do is play something else.

Use more than 6 pokemon. These days in every playthrough I rotate between at least 8.
