No? Started with bulbasaur circa 1999 mate. It's just a good set of routes coming off the mountain and moving into the city. Snow areas are great.

XY's riding mechanics. One was a taxi you had no control over, one was literally just in one tiny square with nothing to do and then the Rhyhorn/Mamoswine shit which was entirely a chore.

Literally better than any feature introduced in gen 4 or 5. Amie is Following Pokemon but done well instead of the laziest way possible. Customization means you'll never be stuck with atrocious designs like Lyra, Nate or Rosa ever again.

no, Amie is literally a rehash of the Pikachu tech demo that Nintendo used to demo a prototype of the DS at E3 2004

following Pokémon can be used with any Pokémon without being obtrusive
