Which gen 5 game to start with?

I never played gen 5, but now that I've invested in pokebank I really would love to transfer pokemons from my og diamond cart to bw/bw2 and then to my current sun cart.

So my question is, do I go for black/white? Will I miss anything if I go for B/W2?

Story-wise it'd make sense to start with BW1. Though BW2 are vastly superior games. You'll still understand the plot and everything if you skip BW1.
