That's the opposite of how it works though. The current gen is always shuttered on the most and the gen before it gets less shit. You should be hoping that gen 7 lasts as long as possible cause once gen 8 roles up gen 7 will probably be considered "okay"

No. It's a great game all throughout and BW2 is even better. Notice that the most autistic Gen 7 defenders are Gen 5 haters though. It'll change your perception of this board.
