>>32748528Just because they're not listed as UU doesn't mean they're not used there, see Azumarill in OU all the time despite being UU. Besides, there's been a lot of tier shuffling this gen due to power creeping.
I'm not saying Incineroar's doing great or Primarina's shaping the meta, but I'd rather have a reason to use a pokemon in a lower tier than have it outclassed in a higher tier like when Mega Sableye was in Ubers during gen 6.
I never see people mention the three other grass/ghosts in all of these Decidueye threads and Owlbros seem to be developing a superiority complex because they think everything's hunky-dory with Decidueye. What does Decidueye do that compares to
...Gourgeist's multiple sizes with different stats, allowing for either bulkier or faster spreads, as well as Trick-Or-Treat to add a ghost weakness+Z-Trick or Treat boosting all stats.
...Trevenant's straight up resilience with the recovery from Harvest, Horn Leech, and Leech Seed plus its wide attacking movepool and Z-Forest Curse boosting all stats.
...and Dhelmise being better at hazard control in every way, having triple STAB, and Anchor Shot having no immunities and hitting the fairy types rising in prominence.
Decidueye's a "sweeper" that's at an unhappy medium with 70 speed, middling bulk uncomparable to the likes of Arcanine, and most of its speed being attributed to A-slow-la. Swords Dance is done better by stuff like Unburden Sceptile, Breloom, or Ferrothorn. I don't care about starter wars, but you seriously need to stop acting like Decidueye's on top of the world just because it got into Pokken.
