What if the anons are talking about the pokemon in the picture and not the entire species? You can't tell what gender the pokemon is in a picture most of the time, unless specific gender differences or the artist/creator specified so.

Interesting case. This depends what percentage the ones that are labelled male are.

If the labelled male pictures form 87.5% of all Primarina pictures, then you can assuming the remaining 12.5% as female. (Note you can't count two images of the same Primarina as two, you can only count it once)

I doubt that's the case though so unless you want to investigate this you should stick to the default rules.
