Wew. Anyway, how come there is always talk about smogon here, but rarely anything about battlespot and VGC?

Well unless you inject, battlespot and VGC kind of require a lot of work.
Not to mention you have no access to resources such as the calculator and a Pokemon's speed tiers, stuff like that.
Also, it takes forever to get my 3DS, open it, start the game, press A a bunch of times, select my Pokemon, go online, etc.

Also, the ruleset for battlespot is honestly kind of garbage.
VGC is alright though sometimes a little weird with their rulesets.

It's only number 1 on the special battles(which have unique rulesets). Haxorus doesn't even make the rankings for singles/doubles.
