It looks more like Solgaleo & Lunala's forms with parts of Necrozma, than them being Necrozma's new forms, though this is just by judging their looks imo. Probably going to be well explained in-game.

It'd be interesting to get to know whether this is some kind of symbiotic relationship or just simply that Solgaleo/Lunala acts as the host while they in reality they are controlled by Necrozma.

Regardless, wonder how the lore gonna play out tho

That's the point. Nobody thought Corocoro would reveal anything relevant, but we should already know everything that's going to be on the cover, so why not just show the boxart already?

wouldn't make sense since there's still too much Lunala and Solgaleo in their design, it's not like Kyurem Black or White
and then why didn't they show us the boxarts with these new forms on them like they did when they revealed Solgaleo and Lunala.
And it's not like they could've possibly thought it wouldn't be worth showing, in the trailer they purposely hid them

The hologram theory is neat, but it's pretty much just based on assumptions and the fact that their color schemes aren't identical to the full phase forms. But it's just as likely their colors just change once uniting with Necrozma.

Well yes. That's what makes them a "theory" in the first place.
Granted, there is a retard who's so insistent on this particular theory to the point where he calls the armor theory a "meme", but he's a rotten apple than anything.
