Tyrantrum is both faster, and hits harder, and and gets dragon dance if you wanna nuke the team. Hone Claws if you're feeling a little more risky, but the accuracy reward is so worth it.

Aggron gets...none of that.

Now mega aggron though...He's my bro-tier mega. Max HP, Max Def, 3 attacking moves + Rest. Yeah...it's a bad set, and it's a bro set.

Pair it with Wish/heal bell support and this thing just refuses to die.

>252+ Atk Landorus-Therian Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Filter Aggron-Mega: 114-135 (33.1 - 39.2%) -- 99.8% chance to 3HKO

>0 Atk Aggron-Mega Ice Punch vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Landorus-Therian: 316-372 (99 - 116.6%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO

>252 Atk Life Orb Excadrill Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Filter Aggron-Mega: 129-152 (37.5 - 44.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

>0 Atk Aggron-Mega Earthquake vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Excadrill: 292-344 (80.6 - 95%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Barring crits, Aggron wins a good amount of "unfavorable" matchups.
When you get low, you swap wish pass later, or rest and heal bell later.

I can't wait for it to get released.
