Yeah. In addition to being slow, Xurkitree also had terrible bulk and not much options for coverage.

Looking back on the original viability prediction threads, Nihilego and Celesteela were severely underrated, and Kartana and Xurkitree severely overrated. Some people ranked Nihilego below FUCKING GUZZLORD.

I don't know about Nihilego, but after stats were leaked, I saw a Celesteela thread where nearly everyone was calling it the worst UB, including shitters who said they could only see Celesteela in "UU at BEST."

Same anon. I also remember seeing people from other forums shitting on Celesteela because it was the only UB that didn't have min-maxed stats, so I guess that could be a reason why people were so quick to undermine it.
