That doesn't look like the same area to me at all. There's no water by the fossil park. The only thing they have in common is a trailer.

I think this area is actually Verdant Cavern
The outdoors part where you fight the Totem Pokemon, it matches with the little holes where the yungoose and rattata came out from, we're just seeing it from the opposite side

I think the Fossil Park is gonna be a huge safari zone like area
Spare no expense
