HP Ground would be better for that since it also hits other electric types, but it's almost better to just use HP Ice and accept that A-Maro walls you.

Nothing in particular. The one that I grinded for in dream radar happened to have HP water. Neat that hidden power also gets the bonus in damage from weather.

I use it on a doubles team with tapu koko and electivire. Koko sets up electric terrain then volt switchest out to electivire while thundurus uses discharge to buff electivire's speed while smacking the opponent.
