What are the main differences between the Nintendo 3DS and the Nintendo 2DS other than the body design? I was told by some users of the 2DS that they actually prefer that console because it fits better in their hands or some shit while others say they never used the 3D features of the 3DS anyway.

I noticed that the Nintendo 2DS models are far cheaper than the 3DS so I was wondering if this would suffice for someone who really wants to try the Pokémon games. I was the guy who has never experienced one before by the way.
