The one thing it has going for it is that it's the one fan game that's actually finished in the swaths of unfinished ones.

The pokemon spritework and designs are fucking awful though

The game itself is good, but the Pokemon designs are hot garbage. Out of the 200 or so mons in the dex, there's maybe 2 evolutionary lines tops that aren't DeviantArt reject tier shit.

Pic related is one of the only cool evolutionary lines in the game.

a.) Shit design
b.) Shit color palette
c.) Shit spritework

Like, look at pic related. The top mon is an ugly clusterfuck. I actually really like the middle mon, but holy shit do the colors ever clash. The bottom mon... It's all three mistakes crammed into one.
Pokemon designs make or break fangames. Uranium had potential, but it just didn't live up to it at all.
