>>32821249The biggest weakness of the Sinnoh games is how slow everything is. Platinum tried bumping up the battle speed of Diamond and Pearl but I didn't notice a good improvement to it until HG/SS. I don't know if it's the engine the game runs on but I swear the games before Gen IV are faster and more enjoyable to play again.
Gen V feels the fastest with it's battles so by going in release order of Platinum, Heart Gold, then White, you'll have a better time as the battles increase in speed with each iteration.
