But the story needs to be reduced in SM, not added to even more.
USUM is going to be another game that's impossible to replay because of the cutscenes isn't it

While this is true and what i expect because of GF's laziness, the fact they were willing to break backwards compatibility with 6th gen by adding new megas and moves to ORAS only does suggest that some time in the future GF might be willing to add new pokemon mid gen, even if it's something small like they don't include the second game mythical with the first game so it can be datamined.

The Alola forms in Sun and Moon wont be available (Pikachu will evolve into regular Raichu, Alolan Meowth wont exist, etc), rather they'll be replaced with an entirely new set of Alola forms coinciding with GC virtual console

Won't be. I'm pretty sure there will be new Alolan forms -- they're one of this generation's gimmicks, just like last gen's Megas. If ORAS is any indication, there will be new Alolan forms in USM.
