Every time I learn something about the switch makes it seem worse and worse

This screenshot is taken out of context. This article talks exclusively of Voez, which requires the touchscreen to play, making it impossible to play in TV mode.
All games that aren't reliant on the touch screen will be playable via TV mode.

I play my Switch mostly on Handheld mode so I don't give a damn

Also Switch overheats too damn much while docked so is not made for more than 1 hours sessions.

Although the likelihood of Switch Pokemon using touchscreen is low, the point of the thread kinda assume it does.

Of course, I doubt OP actually think that far ahead. Regardless, it is something to talk about.

I think it'll be like the last few games, where you can function without the touch screen, but it's nice to have for some things.

Actually, after reading the article again instead of skimming through it, it seems the developer was the one who made the decision to not have a TV mode. So the Switch isn't really the problem here.

That said, GF can make the same decision, but that's just their problem.

In the off-chance that it wouldn't support it, I wouldn't care. I kinda hate playing on my Switch in TV mode, it's much easier to play it in handheld in my opinion.
