Admittedly, part of why I want that is just to watch you faggots lose your shit over it.

Johto.
They will have released GS on VC.
Johto mons are on Go.
We had Kanto starters in XY to introduce Megas, we then had the RBY VC, so now Johto starters should get Alola forms. After all, Malie City where Samson Oak seems to reside was colonised by the Johtonese.

Also don't forget that the Johto starters can be found with Island Scan on Mele Mele Island, which could suggest they will adapt to their surroundings and change type.

Johto starters. Kanto starters already got megas, and Sinnoh starters will get whatever new gimmick gets introduced in gen 8. Johto starters got cucked in the remakes so if they're ever going to get anything, it's gonna be now.
