I'm 100% certain that those "noses" used to be eyes in an earlier draft of the design.

It'd look too much like Magnemite. I know a lot of Unovamons are rip-offs but that's going a little too far. Also if those were eyes they should've been a little bigger, desu.

I'm pretty sure they were bigger, just like how Hydreigon's caterpillar tracks used to be functional.

The obvious similarity to the Magnemite line was definitely the reason why the eye idea was scrapped.
