I like Joltik, Galvantula, and Spinarak the best.
Ariados looks less like a spider and more like some kind of ant/flightless wasp, and I'm not a big fan of Dewpider and Araquanid's strange proportions.

Ariados is cool but a complete shitmon.
Araquanid's head is too fucking big.

Galvantula is great ingame, has a niche in competitive, first with its type, has more spider traits than the rest and still manages to be the cutest line of the three.

I just realised Araquanid's eyes aren't the little red markings on its face. I thought it's real eyes were just markings or whatever. He looks like Black Manta now, but I liked it better the way I saw it.

Technically sea spiders aren't spiders. If you count them as such, you might as well count Drapion, since at least scorpions are arachnids. Or count Mighteana as a cat-like pokemon.

If Joltik is a jumping spider and Dewpider is a diving bell spider, what spider could we reasonably get next time? I want a spider legendary. Maybe a bug/psychic spider that uses its webs like marionette strings?

Galvantula actually had good special attack and speed, STAB moves, ability (Compound Eyes), and coverage.

Ariados is an early-game shitmon, no matter how many times our boi Guzma uses it.

Araquanid is a counterpart to Masquerain, who is also shit. It may have a really good Ability and impressive Special Defense, but that's it. Its offensive stats are shit. Its speed is shit.
