don't play it if you don't want to retard. i was suggesting it because i've played both multiple times and i enjoyed polished crystal a lot more, but if missing out on spearow is a deal breaker for you then just don't play it

the current version is 2.2.0, but 3.0 will be released within 2 weeks. the most notable changes in 3.0 is the addition of abilities, but there are a lot of other changes as well. i'd suggest waiting the 2 weeks for 3.0 to come out to play it
