Maybe it's because VGC is a far less shitty meta that the community is so much more comfy. The Smogon tourney scene is a hive of toxicity, precisely because there's no objective skill to guage anymore with shit like Magearna and Z-Moves and so games are played in bad faith.

42% cat is worse. It's used twice as much as the second most used mon, Magearna. That's a far steeper drop-off rate than 72% Arcanine and 49% Koko.

And besides we all know Lando-T is used that much because it's keeping OU on life support in the hospice where it's slowly dying of cancer.

Comparing VGC to OU is dumb.

Smogon dubs is way more balanced than any cart meta.

Also the people bitching about smogon generally:

A) Never played OU
B) Suck at video games
C) Are upset because their M Rays are banned
D) Suck at video games, and
E) If they had their own meta, it would devolve into Edgar Clause and Autism. See Dunsparce.
