I mean, compared to most pokemon cucked in gameplay both Raichus are pretty damn beloved as fan-favorites. That it got attention at all from GF in the form of A-Raichu is an utter miracle.

Fixing it would require giving it a massive stat buff beyond what's reasonable of an early game rodent.

Also OP, don't forget they buffed its speed in 6th gen.

Even though, its performance in battle is subpar compared to other Electric-types like Tapu Koko and M-Manectric. I love to use it as a niche late game cleaner.

It's honestly not terrible. Kingdra is NU based on usage, that doesn't mean it isn't solid in OU. Alolachu is niche, but way more usable than something like seviper or togedemaru. It just needs a koko for auto terrain.
