Shitposting aside, Aether felt really lackluster, and the fact that Wicke didn't do much didn't help either. I wish they instead made two factions of Aether, the current evil side, and one led by Wicke who's unhappy with what they're doing. Would've been interesting.

No because the whole "she seems nice but she's actually evil" thing would be so boring. It actually ended up being refreshing that she was genuinely decent because of how often the "seems good but is bad" trope is played out.

I'm gonna be honest, Wicke was the one person I didn't want to fight. She was way too nice and motherly by the time you infiltrate the Aether Foundation. So thinking she'd change so quickly didn't set well with me. I was hoping so hard that she wouldn't turn. I was sort of in the mindset that I'd refuse to fight her and take a break from the game for a while if she turned. Thankfully she just gets better, and learning she helped Lillie through the abuse was really heartwarming.
