If you check the number of users of the site its like 0.001% of the people rules and the rest follows. Can you imagine if that was in real life politics for example?

But people are totally okay with this, even when the council reasons do not make sense at all.

And how exactly is the council decided? I bet others on the council are the ones deciding who goes in. Which explains why smogon has more pedos than a local church.

If the Council system is flawed then every rule and ban has the chance of not working for the good of the community.

If you have reasons to not fully trust the ones in charge then you have reasons to question and not trust any of their actions neither.

In this case, banning Aegis or not banning Lando. Can be questioned if those decisions where actually good for the community or where just decisions a couple of random guys made on the whim.

Yes, but its easy to write down something like that for Lando too.

It checks almost every physically mon, can setup SR, keeps up momentum via U-Turn, the offensiv set has RP+SD for setup, it can make use of 3 strong z-moves and its on every team ever because most of the time it does the job so good you have to use it.

I dont think lando should go and aegi is fine in ubers but i think its easy to just copy&paste lando into these banned statements.

Its not the best mon in OU, but a lot of Ubers wouldn't be the best mons in OU either.

Gen 6 UU was GOAT, and one of the most balanced metas that existed next to Gen 4 UU.

OU is an absolute joke right now, and the reason is that they're taking their sweet ass time getting rid of broken shit. We've got at least three things that need to be tested, and at the rate we're going (starting after the end of WCoP, which is FUCKING AUGUST) we won't get a balanced meta until USM breaks everything again. I'd rather have the more efficient system in place.

It's not exactly a meritocracy. Someone could be good enough to get reqs but not have the time to play 50-70 matches (or another 50-70 on top of the first if you don't play like an ace on your first attempt). Everyone knows getting suspect reqs basically amounts to "spam stall until you have the reqs". The 70 battle-cap is also pretty recent, so you can't even grind at it after a certain point either anymore.
