Honestly, I think current ghost is far worse. Resists? What are those?

This shit is worse than gen 4 dragon. If they ever make an offensive ghost-type pseudo, it'll break the meta.

Ghost is somewhat balanced out by the lack of high-powered moves though; Shadow Ball is only 80 BP, and Shadow Claw is only 70

Dark and Steel were created specifically because of how broken Psychic was in Gen 1

Dark and Steel were the Fairy of their time; a type was overpowered, so they brought in a new type(s) to nerf it

The problem is that even Pokemon who aren't defensive benefit from being Steel

Lucario would be shit if it was pure Fighting, but the extra resistances granted by Steel made it a huge threat

I'm not even concerned with viability but the fact that Return and Hyper Voice are pretty much guaranteed as far as offensive Normal types attacks go makes me sad. The other move archetypes are there, they just have such poor distribution or are completely outclassed by Return's 102 BP.
