I'd say the arc was great until the duel against Zarc, with the Battle Beast story being good but too dragged out.
>>32938861The way I see it, Yuri > Zarc > Jean >>>> Professor. I felt like the Professor was more of a plot device, and that Yuri was the main villain of the Fusion arc. Yuri pretty much established that he was already more psycho than Leo anticipated.
Zarc was good as an enigmatic force, and his backstory was good. He had a good deck too. But all he did was spend 1010101010000000 episodes battling cannon fodder.
He gets extra points for demanding that people duel him, but then randomly shooting at people before they could accept his challenge. That was funny as hell.
