>>32947781What I meant by that was everything leading up to when the MC got there would be the same. If they're going alternate universe I would want to see it completely reworked. Without the MC you get basically two options, one Lusamine succeeds and you fix everything (which in all fairness does sound pretty cool but it takes a big fat shit on your first adventure, making it pointless) or they stop her anyway and even then what you did was still pointless because they could have figured it out, and you have to be the newfag again. At that point I'd rather be a new protagonist like in BW2.
I'm also going with what the theory was, where the main difference, the diverging point, was you not arriving. If that's just one of the elements and other shit changes then it could work.
