Why do people hate his animation?

I get Pokemon like Xatu and Skarmory being bad, but what's wrong with Archeops? Or is it the model that's disliked?

Speaking of animations, is anyone else not bothered by Wingull's? It's the only Pokemon that can
pull off gliding in place imo.

My only problem with the nimation is that its feet aren't tucked in like in its BW sprite, or even its official artwork.

I think it would be funnier if it wasn't even in the air most of the time, and only took off when attacking.

It's a new thing, and /vp/ hates anything new regardless of how good it is.

Seriously, only on this board will people argue that having fully realized and animated 3d models is WORSE than having 2d sprites you can't interact with.

Turtlebro is fucking amazing too. I love me my turtlebro. Shell smash is such a fun move, and its strong offensive physical attacks, ooooh boy it was fun to use as a sweeper in BW singleplayer.

Rock/Flying is always super fun too. Aerodactial and the Archeops line are both super fun.

I've used a sort of spdef ish set with rindo berry to check volc and zard y and get rocks, it's surprisingly ok

Something like 252 spe def, 252 HP, rest into attack. Shell Smash, sneaky pebbles, and rock and water physical stabs. Something like stone edge and waterfall?

I've been away from pokemon so long I don't know what's good or what held item would be good. g5 was the last time I know what was what. Even now, i'm still really only playing g4 and 5, g6 and 7 have been pretty shitty.

It's kind of a clever animation based off it's pokedex entry. Thats why he still looks like he's trying to walk and uneasy about flying.
