>>32951913>>32951960Blaziken has the most fanart (both western and Japanese) by a large margin, which points to its popularity, but it doesn't seem as unanimously liked when you just ask people their favorite Hoenn starter like you would something like Charizard. Nor are Sceptile or Swampert ever really shit on like several later starters.
I'd say that Blaziken is the clearly most popular, but that the Hoenn starters are still comparatively some of the more balanced starters in terms of their popularity and how Gamefreak treats them in recent years.
