You either spell it out "U-S-U-M" (With a consonant at the front, as I said a moment ago,) or you say it aloud one of two ways: /jusum/ (roughly) or /usum/ . The former is how a native english speaker would say it; the latter is how a non-native speaker might say it. The latter sounds harsh or strange to an english speaker. You tried to look smart but failed.

>>32964832I do too, but that's the point of contention: if you pronounce USUM, the way you pronounce it is very particular, and if you use "an" in front of it it seems as though you are pronouncing it very strangely or don't speak english properly, as I originally stated.
