>>32966868Well, I'm not one of them. I generally tend to use the one they look like but even then some of them I have multiple names I use and stick to the name for that gender.
The majority do in general look more masculine to me so I do predominantly go after males, but it has happened that I don't care to take much time so I settled for female and just used a similar name for them.
Meanwhile, things like Togetic/Togekiss, Gardevoir, Lopunny, Rapidash, Ninetales, Vaporeon, Sylveon, Glaceon, Meganium and so on I only use male ones (though, I did jokingly keep one male Meganium just to nickname Mr. Mega a couple year back as a reference).
Primarina would've ended up that way too and probably will in the future but I ended up getting a male and female with 5 IV from my 123 Masuda eggs so I kept them both and called them Praline and Almond with the former being female of course.
